Lauren Passarelli was a featured guest and performer at the ROCKRGRL Music Conference in Seattle, WA. The two-day conference to promote, encourage, and celebrate women's achievements in music included more than 200 performances by artists including Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde, Lillix, Barbara Manning and Leni Stern. In addition to the panels and showcases, music legend Patti Smith was honored at the special Women of Valor Award Dinner. The conference also included panel discussions with Bonnie Raitt and Ann Wilson.
Shadow Language has been voted as one of the top 5 finalists in the cover art photography category in the Independant Music Awards competition.
